Poll Results

If you voted in the poll that we would have a boy, you won!!!!! IT'S A BOY!!!! He didn't want to play the 'show-&-tell' game, though. The tech had to work really hard. But that's ok. I understand how it is to work at your own pace. Some of us don't like to be rushed into things.

We are so excited. We would have been happy either way, but secretly we were hoping for a boy. Now things will begin progressing quickly: names, nursery color, bedding, furniture, etc. It's going to fun!

I can't wait to see him. Wonder if he'll have dark hair? Will it be curly? What color eyes will he have? How tall will he be? Will he be a pretty baby? Will he have big hands & feet? I'm sure the time will fly by (it's hard to believe I'm already half-way through), but after yesterday I'm beginning to get a little anxious.

I've been intending to add the newest 'picture' of our baby, so thought I'd do that today. This was from my last appointment, Jan. 15. As you can see, it's beginning to look more 'real' (I know this isn't a very clear picture, but hopefully you get the idea). We will find out it's gender on Feb. 19. I'll try to remember to add that exciting news.

It's so nice to have such friends that find their day isn't complete without reading one of my blog posts... ok, that was a little over the top.
Well, I'm currently at home- why you might ask? Because yesterday evening and last night were terrible. I only got about 2 hours of sleep in between my trips to the bathroom to vomit and ..... (some things are better left unsaid). I have to admit that today I feel a little better, but still only at about 55%.
Which brings me to my next point. Some guys are such wimps, yes little babies. And unfortunately I am in that category when it comes to being sick. My loving wife (after a little persuasion) runs to my rescue- she even went to the store and brought me some Sprite (I think that was after her movie). She took pretty good care of me. Seems funny because I was just talking about this Saturday night with Chuck and Jennifer.
Well, I'm off to the bathroom.....
