Happy Easter!

Easter this year was yucky weather - rain. But at least it wasn't cold. I had wanted to get my boy an outfit in a color other than blue, since he has a lot of blue outfits, but with his blue eyes it's hard not to do. I finally found a sweet smocked shortall that made his eyes shine.

These were taken a week before Easter:

Happy Birthday!

I recently celebrated my 32nd birthday, which fell on Good Friday. That being a holiday, I had the day off so Jacob and I went to Hohenwald. My sister and brother and their families came Friday, despite being sick. It was nice to be together with my family. It's rare that we all get together at one time. Just wish Jason could have been there - he couldn't get off work that Friday. He did have flowers delivered to Mom and Dad's. So sweet! I am so blessed to have a family that loves each other and enjoys each others company - most of the time. :)

Family

We visited with some of Jason's family the end of March. His Aunt Cheryl came, along with her kids, from South Carolina. It's always fun to see all the grandkids and great-grandkids together. Aunt Carole's house was packed to the gills, but it's always a pleasure.

Here are a few miscellaneous pictures:
Jacob was playing one day and I noticed he'd somehow worked his arm out of his shirt. It was so funny. He thought he'd done something really neat.
Roadtrip. So sweet!!

8 months old

Jacob turned 8 months old March 20. Around that same time his two bottom teeth broke through the gums. This picture was taken 3/20/09, which shows one tooth. That same day he started crawling on all fours. He'd been scooting, dragging one leg, then all of a sudden he decided it was time to get up on his knees and go for it. He's moving like a pro now. It's sweet to see him follow Jason and me around the house, but he's gonna keep me busy once he starts walking. He's already into everything!

Spring Break

I had a week off when the Terrys had a spring break vacation. Taking advantage of the time, I went to Hohenwald to visit my parents. As Jason has posted previously, we went to Chattanooga with my mom and dad. We decided to take the 'scenic' route from Hohenwald, going through Winchester, Fayetteville, Mt. Eagle.
While in Chattanooga, the weather wasn't ideal. It was rainy, cold, and windy. However, we enjoyed window shopping, visiting antique shops, and riding the carousel. Eric, Liz, and the kids came one afternoon to spend the day with us. AbiLyn rode the carousel until she'd spent all of Grampy's money. She had such a good time!

Well.....

It's been a while. Some of the family has been ragging me about not posting for so long. Someone even said she was going to take our link out of her favorites list. So I'm finally getting to it. There's so much that's happened in the last month. I think I'll do separate postings to make it easier.
