Ready for Football?!?!

Jacob and I are ready for some football! College football has recently started and we are excited about the season. Tennessee opens their season against UCLA this Monday. Jacob is already getting into the BIG ORGANGE spirit! We are visiting the Droke's in Hohenwald, Tenn. for the holiday weekend. Jacob also got a chance to play with his counsins: AbiLyn and Lex.

First Trip to Great Grandparents

Jacob visited his great grandparents yesterday in Jackson, Tenn. He always gets so excited to meet new people. He especially loved listening to grandaddy play the harmonica- he would just watch and wouldn't move. Here are a few pictures from our visit on Friday.

Finally more pictures!!

I love to watch my boy sleep. It is so sweet!

This was a little over a week after he was born. Look at that smile!
I love this outfit. Aunt Janet says it's a "Jimmy Droke outfit." He looked like a little man in this.

Jacob turned one month old yesterday, Aug. 20. It's hard to believe it's already been a month. The poor thing - his face is all broke out. Apparently, babies have issues with hormones, too. I promise I wash his face! Here's a picture I took on his 1month birthday.

Ok, I will add more later. It's bath time, then bed time. Let's hope he sleeps well tonight. Actually, he does good at night. I can't complain.

Well, I'm Back to Work

I started back to work this week after being off for 16 days. If you know my personality you know that I like to stay busy. I must say that I was ready to get back to a routine and a more defined structure. Well, work didn't disappoint. I came back to quite a panic- the worst blood shortage for this area in 24 years! It seemed like a long week, finding myself running from one blood drive to another. All in all it wasn't bad- I even found time to mow the yard, vote, attend city meetings, buy more items for Jacob and have dinner out a couple of times. I consider myself fully back to my old routine. - Jason
